The Usonian Apartment
This 1940s residence, designed and built by Raymond Viner Hall, showcases his signature elements: sandstone floors, mahogany built-ins, Walter’s stonework and a unique fireplace.
Notable features include glass block and subtle rounded corners on the walls. Our rehabilitation updated HVAC, kitchen and bathroom while preserving the original character. And, we’ve furnished the apartment with pieces similar to those Hall would have specified for his clients, maintaining the home’s authenticity and charm.
Because the Usonian Apartment is one section of the main building, it can be easily combined with the Architect’s Suite to give guests a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to six people. Please inquire at time of booking for special rates and to see if the Architect’s Suite is available.
