Experience Authentic Allegheny Modernism
Lynn Hall seemingly materializes from the Pennsylvania mountainside, an early masterpiece of Organic Modern architecture recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by Walter J. Hall—the primary builder of Fallingwater—the building's multilevel interiors reach organically into the mountain itself, featuring sandstone floors and walls quarried and hand-chiseled on-site in Hall's signature "tapestry" pattern. His son R.V. Hall would carry on his father's legacy, taking charge of Lynn Hall's continued development while establishing himself as a well-published architect in his own right.
Lynn Hall offers three authentically restored mid-century accommodations: the Architect Suite, the Usonian Cottage and the Usonian Apartment, each thoughtfully appointed with upscale furnishings that Hall would have selected for his clients and the many properties he designed. Our accommodations preserve Hall's original vision while providing modern luxuries, allowing guests to experience the seamless blend of nature and architecture that makes Lynn Hall unique. Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains near Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park, each suite offers an idyllic home base for exploring the region's natural wonders.
